Joint pain can be described as the discomfort, pain or inflammation that arises from any part of the joints in the body. It can include cartilage, bone, ligaments, tendons or muscles. Most commonly however joint pain refers to the pain caused due to arthritis, which is the pain from within the joint itself.
Joint pain can be mild, which is the soreness only after certain activities, or it can be severe, making even limited movement, particularly bearing the weight becomes extremely painful.
Joint that forms the connection between the bones, which also supports and help the body to move can damage by injury or disease and interfere with the bodily movement and also cause lots of pain. Joint pain is extremely common among the adults.
Knee pain being the most common complaint, is followed by the shoulder and hip pain. However, joint pain can affect any part of the body from your ankle and feet to your shoulder and hands. As you get older by age, painful joints become more increasingly common.
